A man has been arrested for recording a video which shows some policemen dragging a young man into the Ajuwon Police Station in Ogun State.

Gunshots could be heard after the young man was led into one of the rooms of the police station.

The man who was arrested for recording the video is identified as Ayinde Ayorinde.

A Twitter user identified as Tope Akinyode wrote:

“ALERT: I’ve just been informed that the guy who recorded this viral video of police brutality has been detained. If you’re a lawyer within Ajuwon & its environs willing to join hands to handle this case, please DM me.”

In another tweet, Akinyode expressed fear that the young man dragged into the police station may be dead.

“This is the remaining few seconds of the video. Watch and listen very carefully. He can be heard screaming “we are not there! ” repeatedly, a gunshot goes off and he is silent. Whatever happened in there is very self-explanatory,” he wrote.
