A man has raped an 11-year old boy in a popular hotel in Lagos.
The man identified as John Ita Ogar was arrested after he allegedly engaged a boy (name withheld) in anal sex in the popular Ambi Hotel located at Pipeline Street in the same Ejigbo, Lagos.
According to P.M.Express, the suspect, Ogar, forcefully penetrated the boy through his anus and injured him in the process before they were caught in the act.
How the boy was lured into the act at the hotel was not known because the Police Public Relations Officer was yet to make an official statement over the dastardly act.
However, some of the residents, who knew what happened, said that it was the mother of the boy that caught them, raised alarm and went to the Police at Ejigbo Division to make a report.
It was learnt that the suspect said he was lured into the act when he was 16 years and he continued in that before he was caught.
The boy, who Ogar allegedly assaulted, has been taken to Mirabel Centre for test and treatment because he was said to have sustained injuries due to the forceful penetration.
When P.M.EXPRESS reporter visited Ejigbo Police Station, the suspect was still detained there while the DPO was said to have gone for routine monitoring of the area.
However, according to Police sources the matter will be transferred to SCIID, Panti, Yaba area of Lagos, for further investigation.
If he is found culpable, then he will be charged before the Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment.
