MAIN AGENDA! Impeaching Saraki won’t reduce price of a bag of rice to N7, 000, Fayose tells FG
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has advised the Federal Government to focus on governance instead of the impeachment of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
Saraki had recently defected from the All Progressives Congress to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, prompting calls from APC members that he resigned as Senate President or get impeached.
Fayose, a chieftain of the PDP, waded into the matter on Wednesday in a post on his Twitter account, @ayofayose. The governor, whose candidate in the recent Ekiti gubernatorial election lost to the APC candidate, Kayode Fayemi, said impeaching Saraki will not reduce the price of to N7,000.
