Louis Vuitton has confirmed a data breach in South Korea, adding its name to a growing list of luxury brands targeted by cyberattacks in recent months, including Dior, Tiffany, and Cartier.

In a notice released on Friday, Louis Vuitton Korea disclosed that an unauthorized third party gained temporary access to its systems on June 8, leading to the exposure of some customer information. The company said it became aware of the breach on Wednesday.

According to the company, the compromised data may include customer names, contact details, and other information shared by customers. However, Louis Vuitton emphasized that no sensitive financial data—such as credit card numbers or passwords—was exposed in the incident.

This latest breach underscores a troubling trend in the luxury retail sector in South Korea, where several major brands have reported similar cyber incidents this year.

In May, Dior apologized publicly after confirming a data breach that had taken place in January. That same month, Tiffany revealed it had experienced a data leak in April. Cartier also notified customers of a separate breach involving personal data last month.
