Reports reaching us indicates that there was a robbery, on Tuesday, at one of the branches of First Bank operating in Ekiti state.
This was made public after Kikiotolu shared pictures of the robbery incident on the internet.
It was reported that the heavily armed robbers stormed the bank at about 4pm and used a powerful armory to bombard the security doors of the bank open.
The armed robbers reportedly robbed the bank successfully and carted away undisclosed amount of money. Fortunately no life was lost during the operation
Meanwhile, First Bank in Ekiti State, has suffered several attacks in the hands of armed robbers. It would be recalled that branches of the bank have been attacked at Ado Ekiti, Ifaki Ekiti, Ikole Ekiti, Ikeere Ekiti before the one in Emure was hit yesterday.
