Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman is reportedly angry after Atalanta turned down a fresh transfer offer from Inter Milan worth €45 million.
The offer included €42 million upfront and €3 million in add-ons, but Atalanta refused to accept it, even though Lookman has made it clear he wants to join the Serie A giants this summer.
Nigerian sports journalist Onyebuchi Onokala, also known as Buchi Laba, revealed on X that the player feels disappointed with his club.
“I hear Ademola Lookman is disappointed and very angry at Atalanta for refusing Inter Milan latest offer,” he wrote.
“There was a gentleman agreement that if a good offer comes in they will accept. That’s why he didn’t leave in January 2025. He wants Inter Milan and has rejected other offers.”
Buchi Laba also added that Atalanta are demanding at least €50 million plus add-ons before they will consider letting the forward leave.
Lookman, who scored a hat-trick in the Europa League final for Atalanta, has drawn attention from several European clubs after his impressive performances last season.
