Abudu also shared a video introducing the facility and explaining its purpose as a meeting point for African creativity and international audiences.

The centre features a 160-seat cinema known as Amani Auditorium, a restaurant and bar, a retail store and an art gallery.

Other facilities include the Fèhìntí Lounge and a retail space showcasing African fashion, jewellery and beauty products.

Abudu described the development as a cultural destination rooted in African heritage while embracing London’s diversity.

The development expands the EbonyLife brand beyond Nigeria, following the establishment of EbonyLife Place in Lagos.

Khan welcomed the project as an opportunity to strengthen cultural connections between Lagos and London.

The facility is expected to host film screenings, premieres, performances and other events celebrating African creativity.
