Lodger nabbed while trying to abscond with hotel TV in Benue [Photos]
A yet-to-be-identified man has been apprehended after allegedly stealing a television set from the room of a hotel in Benue state.
It was gathered that the man who was a lodger at Kyabiz Hotel along Gboko road in Makurdi the State capital was trying to abscond with the TV after hiding it in his big travelling bag.
Hotel workers reportedly accosted him and ordered him to open his bag when they found the big TV and the remote control in the bag.
A social media user Rampa Joe shared photos of the man on his Facebook page.
He captioned:
“This guy came to Kyabiz hotel Makurdi, Gboko road to steal this plasma TV but unfortunately we caught him.

“This should be a warning to other hotels, these people are not joking oooo. While he was caught he had keys to other hotel rooms, should incase you have a missing Tv in your hotel check E Division.”
