The coach of Lobi Stars football club, Solomon Ogbeide, has slumped and died, barely hours to his team’s match against Wikki Tourists of Bauchi.

Edema Fuludu, a member of the Tunisia ’94 Super Eagles winning team, told newsmen that he died on Monday from low blood pressure.

“Low BP. I was told,” Fuludu said.

“We just lost Coach Solomon Ogbeide of Lobi Stars. So sad. Just told the sad news now.”

The late former Sunshine Stars of Akure coach complained that he was not feeling too well before he slumped on Monday morning.

Meanwhile, Lobi Stars defeated Wikki Tourist in their final home game of the season.

Despite being eliminated in the group phase of the CAF Champions League, Lobi Stars have done well to take the second spot in Group A of the Nigerian Professional League table.
