Published

Liverpool secured a thrilling victory over Fulham in a seven-goal Premier League encounter at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds came from behind twice to snatch the win in the dying moments of the match, thanks to goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and substitute Waturo Endo.

Fulham took an early lead through former Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson, who tapped home from close range after Antonee Robinson’s cross.

The visitors doubled their advantage before half-time when Kenny Tete headed home from close range.

Liverpool pulled a goal back just before half-time through Alexis Mac Allister, who unleashed a stunning volley from outside the box.

The Reds equalized in the second half through Darwin Nunez, who finished neatly after Mohamed Salah’s pass.

Fulham regained the lead with 10 minutes remaining through Bobby Decordova-Reid, who headed home Tom Cairney’s cross.

However, Liverpool responded with two goals in quick succession to claim victory.

Endo equalized with a thunderous strike from the edge of the box, before Alexander-Arnold sealed the win with a half-volley from the edge of the penalty area.

The win sees Liverpool stay just two points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.
