American rapper and Multiple Grammy award winner, Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.,popularly known as Lil Wayne, is set to visit some African countries including Nigeria.
This sudden interest seems to be coming weeks after American rapper and Songwriter, Cardi B, visited Nigeria and just couldn’t stop talking about the fun she had.
Some social media users have been insinuating that Wayne’s visit might be as a result of the U.S. vs Iran tension; seeing as some of the American citizens were jokingly thinking of relocating to Nigeria.
When asked where and why he would want to visit, Wayne said, he has never been to Nigeria and it is really a place he would like to be.
He said: “I have never been to Nigeria. That is the place I would love to go.”
He also added that he would really love to visit Egypt too.
There is no doubt Nigeria has become a beautiful bride to foreign artistes, and this may be due to the success of Nigerian artist like Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage among others who have continued to put the country on the world stage with their good music.
