Nigerian actor and social commentator, Imeh Bishop Umoh, popularly known as Okon Lagos, has mocked the African Democratic Congress (ADC)’s coalition efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections, likening the party to a “big manhood” that lacks the power to function without Peter Obi.
Reacting to the ADC’s recent attempt to form a third-force coalition, Okon Lagos took to his verified Instagram page to ridicule the move, stating that any alliance without the former Labour Party presidential candidate is doomed from the start.
“In all they (ADC) do, they should realize they are like a very big manhood, and Peter Obi is their erection. A big manhood is useless without the capacity to be erect,” he wrote.
The actor argued that the ADC, despite its ambition, lacks real political weight and direction without Obi’s involvement. He described the coalition as hollow and performative, driven more by routine than by credible leadership.
“The coalition is a three-legged stool, and one leg is already broken. Without Peter Obi, you are just dancing around with no rhythm or direction,” he said.
Okon further criticized smaller parties for trying to exploit voter frustration with the major political parties, the APC and PDP, while offering no real alternative.
“You people keep announcing coalitions every four years like it’s a wrestling tag team match. Meanwhile, the people are looking for competence, credibility, and courage. Obi may not be perfect, but he represents something real. Remove him, and the rest is just political garnish.”
His bold metaphor quickly went viral, sparking debates across social media. While many users supported his stance, calling it brutally honest, some ADC loyalists pushed back, insisting the party remains committed to building a youth-driven, transformative coalition.
As of press time, the ADC leadership has not issued a formal response to the actor’s remarks.
