Lewandowski wins German player of the year

Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich secured a comeback 4-2 victory against Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena on Saturday night.

Robert Lewandowski nullified Erling Braut Haaland’s brace with a hat-trick to send Bayern back to the top of the summit with two points clear of second-placed RB Leipzig.

Haaland stunned the home side by giving Edin Terzić’s side the lead with a seven-minute brace just nine minutes into the first half but Lewandowski cancelled out the Norwegian’s goals with a close-range effort and a strike from the penalty spot before half-time.
