LESS THAN TWO MONTHS TO GRADUATE! Final year student slumps and dies during SUG program in Anambra
A final year student of Paul University, Awka in Anambra State has reportedly slumped and died during a Student Union Government programme.
The deceased identified as Valentine Uchebo was an Accounting student who was due to graduate in July.
A witness, who is also a student of the institution said they were all in the school premises when he slumped, adding that he was rushed to the school’s clinic but was confirmed dead on arrival.
It was gathered that Valentine was the only surviving male child of his parents.
When the SUG president, Prince, was contacted on the incident, he said,
“Valentine Uchebo was one of us, he contributed immensely towards the successful leadership of this present student union government of Paul’s University. We can’t question God rather we pray that it pleases God to forgive his sins and avenge his sudden demise.”
Prince announced that the students Union Government week slated for June 20, has been suspended indefinitely following the sad incident.
