A newborn baby girl was, on Thursday morning, rescued after being abandoned just a few hours after her birth in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Passersby noticed a sack placed on a barren land was moving, which was quite strange, and on approach found the baby inside it.
They swiftly swung to action, bringing her out of the sack, before rushing her to the Ikorodu General Hospital, where she is said to be doing well.
