Lecturer in UNIOSUN sex scandal writes open letter
Dr. Wale Ojoniyi, a lecturer at the Department of Languages and Linguistics of the Osun State University, Ikire Campus who was accused of soliciting sex from a 400 level English student of the institution, identified as Mercy has written an open letter to Nigerians on the issue.
A video clip of the lecturer in a hotel room had surfaced online recently. Mercy, who released the video clip, had recorded it in a hotel room. She had pretended to be watching the ‘Things Fall Apart’ film on her computer while she used the computer’s web cam to capture the whole scene.
However, the lecturer denied the incident. On his facebook page, he called for a public hearing where the lady who accused him and some principal officers in the university would be present.
