Fast-rising Nigerian rapper, Olamilekan Agbeleshe popularly known as Laycon, has replied those referring to him as ‘Ikorodu Kendrick Lamar’.

Kendrick Lamar Duckworth is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer.

Some trolls on social media have taken to the platform to call Laycon a local champion, hence the name Ikorodu Kendrick Lamar.

The BBNaija season 5 winner, doesn’t seem to be bothered by the name as shown in a recent question and answer session.

Reacting to the question about how he feels about it, he said,

“I mean dude if I’m going to be the one to put Ikorodu on the map, so be it. But guys, really mehn; you all really concerned about that.”

He also said that trolls can choose to call him any name, as long as they recognize the fact that he is an artist and not a footballer like Lionel Messi.
