Veteran filmmaker, Lancelot Oduwa Imaseun, is set to release a memoir chronicling his three decades behind the camera on November 27, 2025.

The launch event, scheduled to take place at the Mike Adenuga Centre, Alliance Française, Ikoyi, Lagos, will conclude a series of activities.

These activities will begin with an open street casting across major streets in Benin City, Edo State, Imaseun’s birthplace, on November 15.

This will be followed by a colloquium and the unveiling of Imaseun’s OIL Foundation, established to support the revival of dramatic and film clubs in schools across Edo State.

During the book launch, the filmmaker will also honor individuals who have played significant roles in his career.

Awardees include the late Captain Hosa Okubor, Senator Daisy Danjuma, Sir Emmanuel Isikaku, and other notable personalities.

The event is expected to draw Nollywood’s finest, diplomats, industry leaders, and friends of Imaseun.
