#LagosDecides: Sanwo-Olu wins his polling unit
The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has won his polling unit.
Sanwo-Olu voted at Lateef Jakande/Femi Okunnu Ward 019 polling unit in Ikoyi.
Sanwo-Olu scored 124 while Jimi Agbaje, of the People’s Democratic Party, got just 26 votes.
WuzupNaija reports that Sanwo-Olu arrived the polling unit at 10.38 a.m., with his wife, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.
The APC governorship candidate expressed his confidence that he would emerge victorious in the elections while addressing newsmen after he had performed his civic responsibility..
He had further said, “exactly six months ago, Sept. 9, 2018, I collected my nomination form from the party and such coincidence means that I will be the next governor of Lagos state”.
