The Chairman of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Clement Ebri, has finally accepted the result of the primaries held on Tuesday.
This is coming barely 24 hours after Ebri announced that The National Working Committee postponed the #LagosAPCprimaries saying a “fresh time and date for the election will be announced later”.

However, according to multiple reports, after consultation with the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole, Ebri accepted the results.
The result of the primary election was announced by the Lagos State Chairman of the APC, Tunde Balogun on Tuesday night and Jide Sanwo-Olu was declared the winner, with 970,851 votes while Governor Akinwunmi Ambode got 72,901 votes.
The results of the #LagosAPCprimaries was also posted on the official Twitter account of Lagos State APC.
