A yet-to-be-identified motor boy lost his life when he was crushed by a truck driver on Sunday along the Oshodi–Apapa Expressway in Lagos on Sunday.
The incident took place around 2:30 pm near Sunrise on the expressway. The motor boy was reportedly sleeping under the truck, intending to follow other truck drivers to Tin Can Port Gate, Apapa.

The driver was later handed over to police officers from the Trinity Police Division in Apapa for further investigation.
The motor boy was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
