Multi-award winning actor, Desmond Elliott on Saturday attended the Festival of India at the Tafawa Balewa Square,TBS, in Lagos.
The Festival of India is a collaboration between International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and the India Disapora in Lagos designed to bridge the cultural gap between India and Nigeria.
This year’s edition of the festival featured internationally renowned traditional and contemporary musicians, dancers and dramatic artists from India and Nigeria.
Elliot, who is now the lawmaker representing Surulere 1 constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly, attended the festival wearing an Indian outfit.
The actor-turned lawmaker shared pictures of the attire on his official Instagram page, @DesmondElliot, writing, “An Indian Affair #tbs.”
Elliot also shared pictures of popular musicians, Sammy Okposo and Ara the saxophonist at the venue of the festival.
