Rapper Odumodublvck has said Lagos is the worst place for young artists to develop their talent, claiming the city breeds greed and selfishness.
In a post on his X account, the Abuja-born rapper warned that growing up in Lagos could turn an artist into what he described as a “packaged beast.”
“The worst place for a young artist to grow is Lagos. It’s the most selfish place to grow. You will become them; a greedy, selfish, and self-centered packaged beast,” he wrote.
Odumodublvck, who credited his success in the music industry to being raised in Abuja, said his difference made it easy for him to stand out in the Nigerian music scene.
“That’s why it was easy to run through the industry as The Machine wey I be. I too real for una,” he added.
