Lagos govt unveils new 60 units apartments

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu has recently announced the unveiling of new apartments in Lagos.

The governor shared this update via a post on Tuesday via his personal X (formerly Twitter ) handle.

The two and three bedroom apartments with 60units was unveiled at the Rising Lagos Apartments.

The post partly reads, “Today, I unveiled 60 Units of two and three bedroom apartments at Rising Lagos Apartments, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and designed to enhance residents’ quality of life.”

Sanwoolu also stated that he commissioned a 144 unit mixed development project in Amuwo Odofin area of the state.

“Additionally, I commissioned the 144-unit mixed development project, Greater Lagos LBIC/WGC Apartments, in Amuwo Odofin, showcasing our dedication to urban renewal and sustainable development in Lagos State.”

“These building initiatives mark a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to address the housing needs of our citizens and promote inclusive growth throughout the state.”

Recently,the Lagos State Commissioner for Housing, Honourable Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, said that Lagos State has a housing gap of about 2.3 million houses.

He further stated that the government has launched multiple affordable housing schemes to cater to people with different incomes, ranging from the low, medium, and high.
