Lagos deputy governor visits Mohbad’s family

The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Femi Hamzat, led a delegation from the state government on a condolence visit to the family of the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad on Tuesday.
Hamzat assured the family that the state government will ensure they get justice and that the late singer’s son, Liam Aloba Eyinimofeoluwa, will be taken care of.
Recall that the Lagos state government has launched a major investigation into the circumstances surrounding the late singer’s death.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has also directed the state Police Command, in collaboration with the Department of State Services, DSS, to launch a major investigation into the singer’s death.
A 19-man police panel has been asked to unravel the mystery of the musician’s death.
Additionally, the DSS has also joined the investigation to widen the dragnet with inter-agency collaboration and use of best-in-class technology to unearth the truth.
Mr. Sanwo-Olu has directed that all those who may have played any role whatsoever in any event leading to the death of MohBad be made to face the law after a thorough investigation.
