Nigerians woke up on Saturday to see legendary afrobeat musician, Bisade Ologunde, who is better known as Lagbaja, trending on Twitter and many a fans heart missed a beat.
However, Lagbaja who spiced our eardrums as children with songs like Nothing For You, Gra Gra, Konko Below, and Suruu Lere, is alive and well. He is set to step on stage to perform alongside singer, Simi, at the Johnnie, Jazz & Whisky concert on Saturday.
The event will hold at the Central Park Arena in Abuja, the Johnnie, Jazz & Whisky concert will see Lagbaja give his first major performance in years.
The event will feature live performances from the ‘Konko Below’ and ‘Joromi’ singers.
