A man who has been in jail since 2014 has got himself and his girlfriend in deeper trouble after after trying to get out of the jail with an uncanny method.
According to radiomundial.com, Antonieta Robles Saouda, 25, went to visit her partner, José Antonio Anzoátegui at the prison in Barcelona, capital of the state of Anzoategui, Venezuela accompanied by a six-year-old girl and a suitcase.
On leaving the complex, prison guards stopped her to inspect what was inside her pink suitcase. It was then that the troops found the prisoner, identified as Jose Vargas Garcia, also 25 years old, hiding amidst clothes in the bag.
“The subject was convicted for theft of vehicles and he tried to escape from the punishment,” said Brigadier General Danny Ferrer Sandrea.
As a result, the inmate returned to his cell, while Robles Saouda was also detained. Meanwhile, the girl who accompanied her was placed at the disposal of Justice.
Authorities snapped a photo of the solemn-looking lovers both in handcuffs with their pink escape mobile — Saouda looking sadly down at the ground while Garcia who was serving a 10-year-jail term stares looked directly into the camera with a blank expression.
