Lady set to divorce husband for planning to pursue same career as hers
A Nigerian man has shared a weird story about his friend’s marriage which he said is currently experiencing turbulence over arguments on the husband’s career choice.
@RealChuka narrated that his friend’s marriage is presently under threat over plans by the man to pursue a career in nursing.
The man’s wife who is presently a nurse in the United Kingdom was said to have frowned at her husband’s plan to become a nurse.
“Why will you go back to study nursing when I’m already a nurse, you wanna compete with me,” she reportedly told her husband.
@RealChuka shared a screenshot of his WhatsApp conversation with the man where he claimed the lady had been pretending to support his plan hoping he (the husband) would fail the exam.
The Twitter user wrote:
“I can’t believe what I just read on my WhatsApp now, my guy that got married in June 2018 is getting divorced by his wife who’s now in the UK.
“‘Why will you go back to study nursing when I’m already a nurse, you wanna compete with me’ in her words. I told my guy to thank his stars.”
He added:
“How cruel can someone’s partner/spouse be??“And we’ve been single together sinceee oo! He now decided one day to marry out of the blues, kai! I feel sad for him.
“I’m just sitting her tired not knowing how to console him sef. Will this kinda phobia he has now ever allow him to marry again.”
