A family in Mbano, Imo state was thrown into mourning on Thursday following the death of lady who died after reportedly falling into a soakaway pit.
The deceased identified as Janefrancis Madumere is a graduate of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education in Owerri. She was reported to have been granted a visa to travel out of the country and she had concluded plans to travel next month.
According to her friends who shared the information on Facebook, Janefrancis fell into a soakaway pit in her compound and no one was present at the time. By the time her mother noticed her absence and saw that the soak-away pit had given way, Jane had already died
One of her friends, identified as Ezeji Nneka, who took to Facebook to mourn Jane’s death said the deceased had already been granted visa to travel out of the country and was making final preparations to travel next month before the sad incident.
