A Dubai based Nigerian identified as Confido Ray has taken to social media platform Facebook to implore well-meaning users of the app to help him locate a lady who has refused to return the half a million Naira which he erroneously sent into her account.
According to Ray, a lady, identified as Ngozi Cynthia Aleke, asked his friend to help her with ₦5,000 but his friend couldn’t make the transfer as he was having issues with his bank app.
This friend then asked Ray to help make the payment. In his attempt to help his friend, Ray had by error credited Aleke’s account with ₦500,000.
Realising his mistake, his friend put a call through to Aleke who promised to do a refund but instead went on to block all their numbers after withdrawing all of the money from her account few minutes after they spoke.
After several failed attempts to reach her, Ray took to Facebook and shared photos of Aleke alongside screen munch of evidence against her.
