Ladies, going on date shouldn’t be centered on food, it’s tacky – Relationship coach
A relationship coach, Akinbosola Adeyemi has taken a swipe at women who request for takeaway to take the remaining food home after a date.
Akinbosola’s statement is in reaction to the video which made rounds on social media, where a lady was seen packing her leftovers inside nylon because she was told to pay for takeaway at the restaurant.
According to Akinbosola, it is tacky to go on a date and request for takeaway because you can’t finish the meal or you want to take home for your “hungry friends”.
He further added that dates shouldn’t be centred around food, but should be an avenue for people to meet and see if there is a connection that could lead to a relationship.
His tweet reads,
“It’s tacky to go and a date and ask for a take away because you can’t finish what you ordered for or you want more to take home for yourself or your hungry friends. Don’t do it. It’s a major turn. You’d mostly likely not get a second date.
“Again, a date is not about how much food you can eat and take home with you. A date should not be centered around food. A date is a avenue where 2 people meet up to see if there’s a vibe and connection that might lead to knacks or a serious relationship. It’s not about food.”
