Following the domino effect of the scam and bribery allegation that has seen police hierarchy suspended the highly-rated super cop, Abba Kyari, a popular Instagram celebrity, Ismail Mustapha aka Mompha, has revealed that he brought his embattled friend, Abbas Ramon fondly known as Hushpuppi to Malaysia before he hit the limelight with his ostentatious lifestyle.

Mompha, who was also picked up by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an allegation of advanced fee fraud two years ago, made the revelation during an Instagram Live session with Daddy freeze over the weekend.

A worried Mompha further disclosed that Hushpuppi found himself in the net of the domestic intelligence and security service of the United States owing to his ‘stubbornness.’

“What f^cked him (Hushpuppi) up was that he didn’t listen to me. He is stubborn hence his arrest and trial in the U.S.

“People will accuse you wrongly, what about me that brought Hushpuppi from Malaysia? wetin my eye no see?” he bemoaned.

Hushpuppi was arrested in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in June 2020 alongside 11 of his associates over hacking, impersonation, scamming, banking fraud and identity theft allegations.

The suspect has since pleaded guilty in the United States and, according to court documents, narrated how he bribed (the now suspended) Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari over his alleged role in arresting and torture of a rival suspected fraudster, Kelly Chibuzor Vincent, following a dispute.
