Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, clocks 45 today (Monday) and to celebrate his birthday, the actor took to his Instagram page to share cute photos which include a family portrait.
In the family portrait he shared on his verified IG page @KunleAfo, the actor could be seen with his four children as they all pose with a glass of wine, but one person was noticeably missing from the photo – his wife Tolu.
The new photo seems to be a confirmation to speculations that Tolu has moved out of their matrimonial home over unresolved issues.
Recall that a few months ago, Tolu reportedly quit the marriage over some issues not disclosed to the public.
The CEO of Golden Effects Pictures captioned the photos:
“Just because God loves me?? Happy birthday Akande Ayodeji Adekunle Afolayan. IRE”
Born on September 30, 1974, Afolayan is the son of the famous theater and film director and producer Adeyemi Afolayan aka Ade Love.
He majored in economics and started out working in a bank while doing some casual acting, before deciding to move into full-time filmmaking and taking a course at the New York Film Academy.
Some of his popular films – The Figurine: Araromire, Phone Swap, October 1, The CEO won him several awards.
It is not clear yet if the multi-award-winning filmmaker plans to throw a party to celebrate his 45th birthday.
