Gifted filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan in his latest production has shocked many as it has been revealed that the Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria (FBN), Ibukun Awosika is one of the cast in his forthcoming movie, ‘Citation.’
According to Ibukun Awosika, her dive into the movie industry is a “great adventure and risk worth taking,” she added that such opportunity will further help her to advance the fight against females in the society.
While sharing a snippet and photos from the movie set, Awosika via her Instagram page wrote:
“It is not in all situations, that we get a chance to do more than talk, about an issue that we are passionate about. The challenges that the female gender faces in her pursuit to be her best is multidimensional
“When great institutions all come together, with an award-winning producer to take on a global issue, it seemed like a good risk worth taking as well as a great adventure into a field I had never experienced. Real respect for the players of the field.”
Afolayan also took to his social media page to share photos of himself posing alongside Awosika and other cast of the movie.
