A 22-year-old man has spent $30,000 on 11 plastic surgeries just to look exactly like his idol, the late Michael Jackson.
Leo Blanco, an Argentine from Buenos Aires, has undergone four nose jobs, as well as surgeries on his ears, cheekbones and chin in his quest to capture the late “King of Pop’s” distinctive looks.
According to reports, Blanco performs as Michael Jackson for a living. But despite having spent so much to look like the King of Pop, the Argentine admits he is still not content with his look and is going under the needle again.
According to UK Mirror, Leo had two otoplasty surgeries – to reshape his ears – three liposuction surgeries, four rhinoplasty surgeries, and two hyaluronic acid and botox applications to enhance his cheekbones.
He said:
“Once you start with the surgeries, there’s no limit.
“It’s impossible to have just one or two surgeries done, you want more and more.
“I spent around $30,000. It was not what I imagined but to reach my dream, it’s worth it.
“I think there are three surgeries missing on my nose, and for sure the chin.
“I’d like to have my eyebrows a bit more lifted up, this could be done by getting injections.
“I’d like to get a face lifting, although all the surgeons refuse to do it because they say I’m not old enough.
“It’s a constant fight between what my parents want, what I want and what the surgeons are willing to do.”
The 22-year-old became infatuated with the singer when he was still a child.
He said,
“Michael Jackson is much more than an artist for me.
“I watched Michael constantly, I listened to him, I felt him. I felt his essence so this way or the other I absorbed his way of expression, his aesthetic preferences and it was very painful for me to look different than him, so eventually I said, ‘Why not?’
“I like to think that I am a paste, something that I can mould, something that I can decide about, not satisfy myself with the face that destiny gave me.
“I can decide how to live and look like. “
“Every surgery is the next step to my objective.
“I feel that the body is a container and I can modify it in an artistic way. Just like when I see a white wall I feel like doing graffiti, to paint, to mark it, the same happened to me with my body.”
