Brand influencer and entrepreneur King Mitchy, born Mukoro Michelle, has publicly apologised after a recent controversy that sparked widespread attention.

The social media personality had a highly publicised clash with Ratel president Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, during which Seyi Tinubu and the Ooni of Ife were also mentioned and drawn into the dispute.

In an apology video, King Mitchy admitted taking full responsibility for her actions, acknowledging that she should not have consumed a toxic substance amid the controversy.

She expressed regret for disappointing her followers, many of whom look up to her as a role model.

She referred to Seyi Tinubu as her boss and confirmed that she had already apologised to him privately.

However, King Mitchy explained that a public apology was necessary since he had been publicly dragged and disrespected, and she wanted to show that she does not take his generosity for granted.

In the same video, she extended her apology to Verydarkman, recognising that it was wrong to involve him in an online feud.

She addressed him as “brother” and commended his efforts in pursuing a noble cause.

King Mitchy also knelt to apologise to the Ooni of Ife for unnecessarily involving the monarch in her disagreement with Verydarkman, acknowledging that he should never have been dragged into the conflict.
