American singer and actress, Jennifer Lopez, has shared her view that genuine kindness, thoughtfulness and simple acts of care are qualities that make a man truly attractive, rather than wealth or expensive possessions.
In a video making rounds on social media, Lopez challenged the idea that luxury items such as flashy cars, designer watches and private jets are the things women value most in a partner.
The award-winning entertainer acknowledged that gifts can be appreciated but stressed that material things do not determine a person’s true appeal or leave the deepest impression.
“We don’t need anybody to buy us anything. We don’t. We want them to, sometimes that’s nice,” she said.
Lopez further explained that while luxury items may be enjoyable, they are not the traits that create genuine attraction or lasting admiration.
“You know what makes a man really attractive? It’s not the watch, it’s not the car, it’s not the private jet, it really isn’t. Although that’s nice!” she said with a laugh.
The singer and actress said everyday gestures of support and consideration often carry more meaning, noting that simple actions can show genuine care and affection.
“It’s seeing them make the bed in the morning, or wash the dishes for you when you’re tired at night. That’s what’s sexy.”
Lopez ended her message by urging people to place greater value on kindness, effort and acts of service rather than outward displays of wealth.
“Now that’s what I call sexy!” Lopez said.
