A reality TV star and entrepreneur, Kim Kardashian, has announced on her Instagram story that she has completed her legal studies after six years of dedicated effort.

The news, which quickly sparked widespread discussion online, was accompanied by heartfelt reflections and visuals from her graduation ceremony.

In her announcement, Kardashian expressed joy at reaching this long-sought milestone, highlighting the presence of her children during the celebration.

She also shared a touching image of her youngest son, Psalm, dressed in a classic outfit she said echoed the style of her late grandfather, Robert Kardashian.

Her daughter, Chicago, appeared in an outfit previously worn by Kim herself, adding a sentimental layer to the family moment.

Accompanying the post were videos in which she proudly displayed her certificate and spoke about her motivation for pursuing law.

Despite the celebratory tone, her announcement attracted a wave of skepticism online.

Many fans questioned the specifics of her legal credentials, particularly whether her path qualifies her as a lawyer.

Kim, who has previously been involved in legal reform efforts and advocacy, undertook her legal studies under California’s apprenticeship program, known as “reading the law.”

This alternative path allows individuals to study under the guidance of a practicing attorney instead of attending a traditional law school.

Her mentor and sponsor, attorney Jessica Jackson, detailed Kim’s rigorous study routine.

According to Jackson, Kardashian studied for 18 hours each week, for 48 weeks a year, over six years—totaling over 5,000 hours. She emphasized that Kim did not take shortcuts and spent significant time in courtrooms advocating for others.

Online responses ranged from admiration to criticism.

User @fridaysbeauty_supply clarified, “No, Kim Kardashian did not attend a traditional, state-accredited law school… she followed a path called ‘reading the law.’”

Another commenter, @miss.jenny_and_bear, stated, “She’s not a lawyer till she passes the Bar.”

Meanwhile, @pvanni commended her effort: “An amazingly huge effort for someone who works, travels, and has 4 kids! Whether she’s a lawyer or not, it shows she’s a go-getter.”

Still, some remained unimpressed. @sampenas remarked, “So she graduates from law school and her ceremony is in her backyard.”

@vintagebarbie_1959 noted, “She still has to take the bar exam. And doesn’t technically have a Law Degree.”

@katmora666 was blunt: “What a joke! Takes away from the real people who actually worked hard for their degree.”

In a related update, Kim’s daughter, North West, recently revealed plans to release her debut album, Elementary School Dropout, during one of Kanye West’s events—further spotlighting the Kardashian-West family’s influence on both entertainment and public discourse.
