A Nigerian youth pursuing his university education in Cyprus, Kennedy Toomwabwa Dede has been killed after he was first abducted by unknown people in the country.
According to Cyprus police reports, Toomwabwa Dede was assaulted by eight people, yesterday, kidnapped from his car, taken to the Çanakkale Pond, seriously beaten and killed there.
Three Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus citizens identified on Turkish website, kibrisgercek.com as OK (E-18), ZK (E-22) and B.Ç. (K-16), have been indicted and arrested in connection with the case. It has not be ascertained what transpired between the late Toomwabwa Dede and his assailants.
The police are still investigating.
