Popular blogger, Kemi Olunloyo, who was freed from detention earlier in June after 81 days in prison has been re-arrested and returned to prison.

She posted earlier on Wednesday that she was arrested again because her bail has not been perfected.

She wrote: “I have arrested again till July 5th, 2017. I’m in the court cell.
“Prisons were served a court order and the court register said it was not ready yesterday or this morning.

“They purposely delayed it so that the prison can’t get it on time. The court started and they released the order taken to the prison.
Too late. The judiciary has failed me!!

“Case in magistrate court was not perfected. Prison says it was a cancelled warrant. Complainant lawyers and prosecutor says no. I was “miraculous” Freed says the prosecutor.”

She made an update later on that she is no longer on line as her Instagram page and fanpage were offline and her phone has been surrendered.

Her fans have taken to the social media in solidarity with her.

Commenting under posts many wished her well, praying for her to conquer her tribulations. Some others seized the opportunity to spite her.

Trouble started on Tuesday March 14, 2017 when the 52-year old took to her Twitter handle to announce that she has been arrested by the police.

She had revealed that officers stormed her home and whisked her away to the Oyo state Criminal Investigation Department (CID) office in Ibadan, but added that the offence she was said to have committed was not criminal.

Olunloyo was subsequently taken to Port Harcourt where she said she was charged with cyber crime for her post about Pastor David Ibiyeomie. She had confirmed that she had posted a letter from one of Ibiyeomie’s church members, levelling allegations against the pastor.

Her first bail hearing was scheduled for March 23, but it could not hold due to the absence of the magistrate.

After the Magistrates court eventually granted her bail, a Federal High Court in Rivers State denied her bail again and remanded her in prison on March 30.
