A notorious thief, who has been terrorising residents of an estate in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state has been caught and beaten to stupor by a mob.
According to a Facebook user, Isaac Mefo, who narrated the story on his page, the suspect usually scales the fence of Osongama Estate to steal people’s car batteries, generators, phones and other valuables through the window.
Mefo also revealed that the robber identified as an Okada rider stole his wife’s Samsung Galaxy phone and his generator set just one month after their wedding.
He wrote,
Thief Caught in Osongama Estate This Morning.
For some months now, this guy has been terrorising Osongama residence jumping fence and stealing peoples car batteries, generators and stealing phones, laptops etc from the window.
This guy here stole my wife Samsung Galaxy phone and my Generator just one month after our wedding.
Well personally I have forgiven him and also advised him to give his life to Christ.
The worst of it all, he is a keke rider.
He has been handed over to army now waiting for police to come pick him up
