Kebbi gov lauds security operatives for rescuing kidnapped deputy speaker

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has praised the efforts of security agencies for rescuing the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Muhammad Sama’ila Bagudo, who was kidnapped last week.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ahmed Idris, on Sunday, the governor described the rescue as proof of the professionalism and dedication of the military and other security operatives deployed across the state.

“I wish to sincerely commend the security agencies for their gallant efforts to rescue the Deputy Speaker. This shows the unwavering commitment of the security agencies deployed to serve the state,” the governor said.

He urged the security formations to sustain the momentum until all abducted persons are freed and reunited with their families.
