The Katsina State Government has confirmed that Governor Dikko Umaru Radda is safe and in stable condition following a minor road accident that occurred on Sunday evening along the Daura–Katsina Road.
In a statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the incident was described as “minor,” with assurances that the governor’s condition posed no cause for concern.
“Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda was involved in a minor road accident this evening along the Daura–Katsina Road while carrying out his official duties in service to the people of Katsina State,” Mohammed stated.
Former presidential aide Bashir Ahmad also confirmed the governor’s wellbeing in a post on X, citing information from the Katsina Local Government Chairman.
“The Governor has been discharged from the hospital, as confirmed by Katsina LGA Chairman,” Ahmad shared.
