The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William and Duchess, Princess Kate Middleton made an impressive entrance for a reception at Pakistan National Monument in a specially painted tricycle also known as Keke.

The Duke rocked a black Sherwani – a long coat-like jacket that is knee-length and usually worn for formal occasions or weddings – with matching trousers while Kate dazzled in a bottle green evening gown.

The couple drove up in the tricycle decorated to mark the royal visit and fitted with lights ahead of the event hosted by British High Commissioner Thomas Drew for them to meet the great and the good of Pakistan society.

Kate and William arrived in Pakistan on Monday evening for an official five-day visit in the hope of forging closer ties.
