Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has reacted to several critics who spoke about Pastor Ituah Ighodalo’s demeanour after the passing of his wife, Ibidun Ighodalo.
Shortly after Ibidun died, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House Church found time to attend the burial ceremony held by another family.
At the event, he said,
“At 2 am this morning, I received a call that shattered my entire life.
“We do not have control over most things in life, how you were born, which womb you came from and your race.
“Life is a deep mystery no one even as wise as Solomon can tell you they understand
“There is going to come a time when we will see clearly as Jesus sees.
The pastor’s composure at another’s funeral led to mixed reactions on social media. One lady, Rebecca Roberts, said that in western countries, the pastor would have been investigated by the police. She also said that the pastor’s behaviour was very off.
See her tweet below:
I am being schooled on empathy and I totally understand everyone alternative opinion on this, but, I still feel a type of way about that and would want my own husband to act differently if I suddenly passed away and I understand where everyone is coming from!

Reacting to the criticism, Kate Henshaw said:
“You cannot tell someone how they can mourn their loved ones.
Leave Pastor Ituah alone. He keeps his word always and if anything he is a strong example of deep faith and courage in God!
All you and your stereotype mourning that reeks to the Heavens!”.

Other Twitter users also blasted her for acting in such a shallow manner. See some of their reactions below;
Since you are concerned about how your husband will react when you die; you may keep an eye on him from the great beyond when demise
If he doesn’t react the way you like, HAUNT him
It’s rather creepy that you desire to control how your husband or anyone else should grieve

Pastor Ituah had made a commitment to officiate the funeral of a 24 year old boy who was the son of a dear family friend that morning.
Your comments were uncalled for.
Let us have some respect for those who are grieving.— OBOGlobal (@OBOGlobal) June 15, 2020
You are really unkind. Imagine trying to cage how people react to situations in a box. This need to always find something off in every situation should have a limit. Terrible person.

Please can you suddenly pass away so you can see how he will react?!
