The Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association, also known as Mai Dalilin Aure, has made a heartwarming gesture by offering four women in marriage to the tricycle rider who returned N15 million to its rightful owner.
This act of honesty by Auwalu Salisu, a 22-year-old tricyclist, garnered widespread praise and recognition.
Auwalu Salisu’s remarkable story began when he discovered N15 million, along with some CFA currency, left behind by the money’s owner, who hails from the Republic of Chad.
Instead of keeping the substantial sum, he chose to return it to its rightful owner, earning him accolades from government officials, various groups, and individuals. He was also generously gifted a new tricycle by a philanthropist.
The Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association has now joined the ranks of those honoring Salisu’s integrity and trustworthiness.
As part of their donation, they have pledged four women for him to choose from a selection of ten eligible candidates.
Remarkably, two of these potential brides are the daughters of the association’s Chairman, Alhaji Mukhtar Inuwa Yakasai.
Chairman Yakasai highlighted the young man’s exemplary character, stating, “The boy has shown the good character of our Noble Prophet, Muhammad (SAW). He is indeed trustworthy. That is why we have decided to honor him with these gifts.”
The association believes that Salisu’s actions mirror the qualities of honesty, integrity, and trust exemplified by their religious and cultural values.
