Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has given immediate approval for the termination of employment for eight directors of the Kano State Internal Revenue Service.
This was conveyed in a statement issued by the Chairman of the Board, Sani Abdulkadir Dambo.

The affected individuals and their positions are outlined in the statement: Muhammad Kabir Umar, Director Assessment; Kabiru Magaji, Director Human Resource; Ibrahim Sammani, Director Government Business; Aminu Umar Kawu, Director Road and Other Taxes; Muhd Auwal Abdullahi, Director Tax Audit, Investigation & Debt Management; Abubakar Garba Yusuf, Director of ICT; Hamisu Ado Magaji, Director of PAYE; and Bashir Yusuf Madobi, Director of Legal & Enforcement.
The action is characterized as part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to cleanse and improve public services.
