Following its mass audience appeal, American singer, Justin Bieber’s album ‘Justice’ has debuted at number one on the United States Billboard 200.
This makes it his eight album to reach number one on the Billboard 200.
According to the Billboard, Bieber’s album opened with 154,000 equivalent album units in its first week, 119,000 of which came from streaming equivalent albums units, 30,000 from album sales, a little over 4,000 from track equivalent albums units.
The project has had the second-biggest starting week for an album released this year, just behind Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album, which debuted with 265,000 units.
Justice also dethroned Dangerous from number one, which it had held for 10 successive weeks.
Justin Bieber’s remaining seven albums that have equally ranked number one include Changes (2020), Purpose (2015), Believe: Acoustic (2013), Believe (2012), Under the Mistletoe (2011), Never Say Never: The Remixes EP (2011) and My World (2010)
He is the youngest soloist with eight No. 1 albums, and previously, was the youngest to reach seven.
The title belonged to Elvis Presley before Justin Bieber.
