Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber has shared a deeply emotional message with his fans, saying he feels broken and tired from trying to fix himself.
In a note posted on Instagram on Monday, the 31-year-old opened up about his personal struggles, especially with anger and pressure to heal.
“People keep telling me to heal,” Bieber wrote in his message. “Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already?”
He admitted that he has been battling anger issues for a long time. He said the constant effort to become the person others expect him to be has only made things worse.
“I know I have anger issues. I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them… And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry,” he added.
Towards the end of his note, Bieber showed even more vulnerability. He said thinking too much about self-growth is starting to feel like a burden.
“The harder I try to grow, the more focused on myself I am… because honestly, I’m exhausted with thinking about myself lately. Aren’t you?”
In the past few days, Bieber has shared several photos on Instagram that have made his fans worried. The posts included pictures of himself, his son Jack Blues Bieber, and ordinary objects around him. One of the slides even showed a screenshot of a chat with a friend, where Bieber said he was ending the friendship because of his anger issues.
The singer’s fans quickly filled the comments with messages of support and concern.
One follower wrote, “Worried about you.”
Another asked, “Are you okay?”
“You are my favourite, get better soon,” a third person added.
