Justin Bieber has shocked fans with a brand-new album titled Swag, marking his first full release in four years.

The album, which features 20 songs, arrived days after concerns about the pop star’s mental health spread online.

Tracks like Dadz Love, Devotion, Therapy Session, and Butterflies are already sparking conversation, especially as they appear to mirror recent events in the singer’s personal life.

One clip, filmed on Father’s Day, showed Bieber confronting a paparazzo. In the video, he said, “I’m a dad. I’m a husband. You’re not getting it. It’s not clocking to you. I’m standing on business.” That same audio has now been sampled in Butterflies, one of the songs on the new album.

The album’s release also follows weeks of public worry about Bieber’s mental state. He had posted several times about how the paparazzi were invading his privacy. At the same time, there has been speculation around his marriage to Hailey Bieber, especially after a social media post where he described an argument the couple had, just as she was celebrating her Vogue cover.

In the song Daisies, Bieber sings lyrics that many believe refer to their relationship: “falling petals do you love me or not” and “you said forever babe, did you mean it or not?”

Promotional pictures for the album show Bieber, Hailey, and their son, with one photo capturing him lifting the child over his head. Some fans believe the photos are meant to push back at rumours and show a united family image.

Swag, which runs for just under an hour, also features artists like Sexxy Red, Gunna, and Cash Cobain. The title throws back to his 2012 hit Boyfriend, which famously included the lyrics: “swag, swag, swag, on you.”

Rapper Big Sean was one of the first celebrities to praise the album. “Yes!!!!” he commented under Bieber’s Instagram post announcing the release.

Many fans online have also celebrated the drop, calling it a bold and emotional comeback. Others say it shows a more grown-up Bieber, with lyrics that mix romance, religion, and raw feelings.

Some of the track titles, including Devotion, Soulful, and Forgiveness, hint at Bieber’s Christian faith, a theme he has often spoken about in past projects. The album, Swag, is now streaming worldwide.
